The Sudsy’s New Online Dock: Pick Your Day, Pack the Rail, Load the Boxes

If you’ve ever walked the docks in Westport and watched the Sudsy loading up for another run, you know this boat has a bit of a reputation. It’s where limits get filled, coffee goes down fast, and the stories on the ride back are almost as good as the fishing.

Now the Sudsy finally has a new website to match the experience on the water: simple, direct, and built to get you on the boat without the runaround. You can jump straight into booking the kind of trip you actually want, instead of guessing from a generic calendar.

Meet The Sudsy

The Sudsy is a Coast Guard–inspected 32-foot Rawson powered by a Volvo Penta G3P-A high-performance 370HP marine diesel. The boat runs modern GPS and sonar, cruises comfortably around 17 knots, and is set up to fish, not just look pretty at the dock.

On board, you’ve got a spacious heated cabin, a full-sized head (yes, a real bathroom), a full walk-around deck, and a below-deck fish hold to stack your catch. Fish can be filleted and cleaned right on the boat, so you’re stepping off the dock ready to head home, not hunting for someone with a knife and a table.

Pick Your Kind Of Day

The new site makes it easy to go straight to the fishing you’re actually after:

Can’t decide? Book a salmon rockfish combo fishing trip and do a little of both.

Every trip is run by an experienced crew with over 40 years of combined time fishing off Westport. You’re not just paying for a ride; you’re paying for people who actually know how to turn a decent day into a heavy fish hold.

A Westport Story (And A Little Help From GoFish.Rocks!)

Sudsy’s story isn’t complicated. You show up once, and something about this place sticks. The salt air, the early mornings, the rhythm of the docks, it gets in your blood. Before you know it, you’re not just visiting. You belong here.
Joe did. He came to Westport years ago, met his wife here, and built his life around this harbor. What started as a love for being on the water turned into something bigger. Running the Sudsy out of Westport wasn’t just business; it was the natural next step. A way to share that pull of the ocean with families, friends, and the kind of anglers who feel most at home with a rod in their hands and the horizon wide open in front of them.

On the tech side, the online booking and scheduling are powered by GoFish.Rocks, an online reservation system built for charter boats, has only a flat rate of $1.50 per passenger, per trip.

If you’re the type who likes seeing what’s behind the curtain, you can find the Sudsy listed in their directory and see how they’re helping outfits like ours keep bookings simple without slicing off a chunk of every trip. GoFish.Rocks keeps the dock talk in the harbor and the payment drama out of your inbox.

Stop Wishing. Let’s Go Fishing.

The boat hasn’t changed: same Sudsy, same Westport, same goal of sending you home tired, smiling, and wondering where you’re going to put all that fish.

The only difference is how easy it is to grab a spot.

Poke around the new site, pick your trip, lock in your date, and we’ll see you on the dock when it’s time to roll. Thank you for choosing The Sudsy. We’re looking forward to putting you and your crew on the rail and into a fun-filled day on the water.
