Terms and Conditions
- Our prices include bait, gear, sales tax, and derby tickets. Fillet fees, tips, and licenses are not included in the price of the trip.
Cancellation Policy
- A 14 Day cancellation notice is required for Bottom, Salmon, Combo, and Deepwater trips.
- A 30-day cancellation notice is required for Halibut trips.
- A 60-day cancellation notice is required for Tuna trips.
- A 10% cancellation fee will be imposed on customer cancellations.
- Cancellations made after the stated time frames will forfeit the fare.
- No-shows forfeit their fare unless the reason is deemed acceptable by Capt Joe.
- We fish and run fishing trips through rain, shine, and wind at the captain’s discretion. Please inform the captain of any medical conditions before leaving the dock. Trips may sometimes be canceled at or near the sailing time due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. Safety is a priority, and marine forecasts can be unpredictable. If your trip is cancelled before the sailing time, we will notify you by text, by email, and by phone call.
- If we need to cancel your trip due to weather deemed unsafe by the Captain, your option is to apply the funds to another trip, hold for a future trip, or opt for a full refund.
- Sudsy sport fishing will not take money or carry any credits over from one season to the next. The schedule for the next season will be posted, and bookings will be open when the Halibut season gets announced for the following season, normally early spring.
Fishing Licenses
- Remember that you will need a saltwater fishing license and a catch record card. We are not selling them on the boat, so you will have to purchase them the evening before your trip.
Gratuities
- Deck hands work for tips and contribute their time before, during, and after your trip to ensure you have a memorable experience. Tips are greatly appreciated and are not part of the boat’s fillet fees. If you enjoy your experience, the industry standard is 20-25% gratuity.
